Maintain and oversee good organization of facility
Conduct New Driver Orientation
Conduct Road Tests for new and existing drivers
Oversee Orientation and provide coverage for Coordinator as needed
Monitor monthly actual vs. budgeted numbers as relates to Orientation expense
Facilitate changes in Orientation Program as needed due to regulatory or other change
Facilitate other company training programs as schedule allows
Work with Director of Recruiting, Safety personnel, shop Foreman and Director of Maintenance to resolve issues on existing and new drivers attending orientation
Answer phones
Maintain inventories, purchases & PO request
Facilitate completion & scanning of hire paperwork and driver qualification files
Maintain and create necessary documents and print mail merge documents
Coordinate Owner Operator truck paperwork, insurance and inspection
Coordinate meals and lodging for drivers in orientation
Manage Vendors and Billing as relates to Orientation
Prepare and maintain inventory of new hire kits and accident kits
Education and Experience
4+ years in Transportation preferred
Class A CDL with OTR Experience required
Leadership and Supervisory Experience
Human Resource experience preferred
Training experience
High school Diploma
