Main Job Responsibilities
  • Bullet PointProvide driver safety training while establishing a professional relationship with each driver that leads to exceptional safety, service and retention. Utilize simulator, dash cam video, reports, etc. for training purposes.
  • Bullet PointProactively communicate with drivers about safety expectations and provide coaching and remedial training as needed for improvement.
  • Bullet PointConduct driver disciplines as may be needed in other safety matters
  • Bullet PointMonthly accident metrics review to assist in developing future training initiatives
  • Bullet PointManage/implement safety communications at the terminal (newsletter, bulletin board, etc.)
  • Bullet PointPossible backup for Orientation Coordinator for conducting road test portion of orientation for new hires
  • Bullet PointTravel to other terminals as may be warranted
  • Bullet PointOther safety duties as assigned

Education and Experience
  • Bullet PointHigh School Diploma
  • Bullet Point1-2 years in the transportation field
  • Bullet PointCDL required
